Anyone got good finical advice?

I literally have a savings account and a checking account. No retirement fund, no health care (as of yet), no credit score, no stocks, ect.
I know there are tons of books/web sites/whatever to get started on this stuff. Any one have any good suggestions to point me in the right direction? In this economy, every penny counts.

Start with investments on TIPS.
I can tell you our economy is heading towards inflation. Anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves.
Also you can open a IRA account with one of the stock firms like AmeriTrade or Charles Schwab.etc.
