How to Compartmentalize Your Money
Brian Lee of geniustypes.com provides information on how to save more money and plan for retirement through compartmentalization. Don’t combine your retirement and emergency funds into one savings account! Instead create multiple accounts for everything you’re saving for. The key is to have one account called the “Equity Goose” that you never draw down. You should only use this account to invest in thing that will cash flow.

5 Steps for Improving Your Financial Health
What Can You Do Today to Improve Your Financial Health – as part of the expert series by GeoBeats. Five things that you can look at doing to improve your financial health today: pretty easy, things you might have heard before, but never hurts to hear them again. First of all, if you do not have one, make a budget, and stick to it. There is a great tool, its free, online, called Mint.com, and you can tie in all your spending in there and track where your spending is going, and with that you can then create a budget, to make sure you are spending money on the things you really care about. Second, set up an online savings account. Every month, have a certain amount automatically transferred into that account. You will not even see it, have it done right at the beginning of the month, and that account is going to grow over time. Third, if you are living somewhere with a mortgage that is at least 1% higher than current mortgage rates, you may want to consider refinancing, especially if you are planning on staying put for a while, because you can save a lot of money by locking in a lower rate. And four, if you want to keep saving and improving your financial health, go ahead and shop around for cheaper insurance. There are a lot of deals, especially if you have done a good job with your credit, you may be paying more than you need to, so take a look at what your insurance is costing you and see if you can do better. Lastly, consolidate your debt. If you have got student loans …

Make Your Money Worth More Then It Is Now, With YOUR Gold
kbvisionworld.com The Fed keeps printing money and diluting the money supply, making our money worth less and less every time they do it. Buying gold and silver will help us retain our money value and even increase with inflation, but buying an ounce of gold is expensive for some. So why not look into buying small amounts with your money like 1 gram at a time and stored securely while being accessible just like a savings account. http

Is your money safe in the bank?
I always thought that the money in my savings account at the bank was MY money. Apparently it’s not entirely mine. It’s an “investment”. It’s a “loan” to the bank. They may or may not pay it back depending on whether or not they are solvent when I want it. So, what are you going to do with your dollars before they become “extremely valuable “? Maybe it would be a good idea to keep some cash on hand if you want to eat while the banks “reorganize” after the collapse. …if they ever reorganize. I know that the BIS (Bank of International Settlements) has plans to issue “world currency” of some kind once the national currency of the particular country collapses. And the monetary collapse will be global. There is still some uncertainty as to what that currency might be. But between now and then, the only “currency” available to people will be whatever “local” (as opposed to global) currency they happen to have on hand at the time of the collapse.
