Have two, three cars.
Own a home large enough for 2 families or more to live in.
Have a savings account, retirement plan, health insurance, life insurance, credit cards, college plan or plans for children.
Own 2 or more cell phones, computers, TVS.
Seriously asking, in what way makes it ‘ Hard Times ‘ …..?

For the cycle goes on the vicious cycle goes on and the economy less demand for credit cards retirement health insurance plans etc unless all these things you enumerated are paid for credit.
One of this morning’s headlines is “598,000 Jobs Vanished”. That refers to only last month. In terms of families the number is a multiple of that. 3,000,000 have disappeared over the last 5 months. Lots of those average families you’re talking about are in danger of losing their homes, their retirement benefits, and the ability to feed their children.
Seriously asking, how did you miss these past few months? It was in all the papers.
Think about third world countries where most of people sleep hungry
