So when I need a $60,000 leg operation I should be expected to have saved, or parents to have saved, that in case of such a circumstance?
ARE THESE PEOPLE NUTS!!!

Should I file for the past six years even though I only have a minimal amount of unearned income?
I am unemployed and dependent on my mom for support. For the past several years all I have earned is a minimal amount of unearned income(below minimum amount to file) on a savings account and a certificate of deposit. I heard from someone that you should file for the past six years because the IRS can hold you criminally responsible if you didn’t file and should have. I know I don’t owe any money, but should I back file for at least the past six years? I am also concerned because I am applying for state health insurance(for low income and poor people)and the insurance program wants my social security number and they will use my ssn to check my latest tax form. If they don’t find a tax form will I be in trouble with IRS or possibly be audited? Also if I did back file, do I have to pay a late filing fee for each year(I think it is a $100.00 per year) even though I won’t owe any taxes. Also, is there any reason to backfile beyond six years if I don’t owe anything?

I got Injured with no health insurance and now I have a big hospital bill?
I have a financial evaluation appointment at the hospital to see how much I can pay for my hospital bill (I got injured with no health insurance), the hospital bill came out to $5,000. I make $1,000 p/month almost minimum wage in Florida, and I have a lot of expenses. I want to set up a payment schedule with the hospital where I can pay about $20 p/month. I have a bank account with some savings, will I be forced to pay the hospital bill in one payment with the money from my bank account (since I have enough in the bank account to pay the hospital bill) or will they still let me set up a payment schedule even knowing that I have enough to pay for the hospital bill with the money in my savings account?
P.S. What are some good reasons for giving them of why I can’t use the money from my savings account?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Health Savings Account Tax Question?
So I’ve been using my Health Savings Account to pay for some non-qualified expenses. I’m aware that I pay a 10% penalty on these withdraws and that I’m supposed to pay income tax on the $ (because it goes into the account as pre-tax dollars. My question is this: when the time comes how do I pay income tax on this (like what tax form is used?). Also, how does the govt know that I even owe $ based on these expenses? I just used it a few times for purchases under $100.

Do you know the difference between legal vs illegal Immigration, what effects have illegal immigration toward U
I personally don,t want to hear the excuse on how we would not have anyone to do the dirty work! Their is million of several generation Americans who are able and willing as long as they recieve fair pay that allows economic participation home, food, clothing, auto, health care, checking and savings accounts etc. To many cheap bastards trying to play capitolist when if they are unable or unwilling to pay incomes keeping pace with price index than they should be outlawed and put out of business!

Did you know the Republicans now have a health care reform plan?
What are your thoughts?
Some highlights include:
Of couse limitations on malpractice lawsuits. ( got to look out for the insureance companies)
“Pools” of insurance. It would let states, small businesses and others group together to offer lower-cost, health care plans. Such pools would have to offer, at a minimum, any coverage that is provided in a majority of states.
Medicaid transfer. It would allow Medicaid users to take the value of their Medicaid benefits and transfer/apply those to a private health care plan instead.
Boosting of health care savings accounts. It would increase incentives for people, especially those in lower income brackets or over 55, to build up HSAs.
Automatic insurance. It would encourage employers to sign up their workers for health insurance automatically, so that employees would have to “opt out” of coverage if they didn’t want it.
This Republican alternative bill also contains several health care ideas that are increasingly championed by both parties.
Longer coverage for youths. It would allow dependent children to stay on their parents’ policies until they are 25.
Promotion of wellness at the workplace. It would encourage employers to reward employees for improved health.
Expansion of community health centers.
Mobile health care. It would allow Americans to maintain their specific health insurance policies when they lose or leave jobs.
In-home care. It would provide financial help and encourage more in-home care over institutions.
